We were the first free-standing center to introduce and use IMRT in the area. We were the first to use B-mode acquisition targeting (BAT) ultrasound for greater accuracy with IMRT. More recently, we were the first to introduce the Rotating Gamma System for stereotactic radiosurgery to the Chicago area and the first radiation oncology center in the nation to have this leading-edge technology.
